If you would like to replace your Velux roof windows without removing the existing lining then replacement flashings will do your job! The windows are simply replaced in the existing aperture therefore minimal disruption without any of the extra work. These replacement flashings are only suitable for windows manufactured before April 2001 for replacing windows manufactured after April 2001 please see the standard flashing kits.
TYPES OF REPLACEMENT FLASHING
PROFILED ROOFING MATERIAL – EW
- For profiled roofing material up to 120mm
SLATE- EL
- Flashing for slate up to 8mm thick
Flashing Adapter – ELX
- For slate up to 8mm thick
Flashing adapter kit ELX is used to replacing roof window combinations and also in conjunction with standard single flashings like EDW and EDL when replacing a roof window where internal finish is not being replaced and the roof window is placed more above the ‘red line’ than normal
