Smoke Ventilation

Flat roof windows are the perfect solution to let natural light and air in from outside in a flat roof area of your home.  They are installed in roofs up to 15° pitch.   They comply with EU legislative requirements for burglary resistance.   It is an effective product for letting in daylight and fresh air, without compromising on energy efficiency and comfort.

The flat roof dome windows come in a few variations.  You have the choice of dome (top) and base of the unit:

Choosing your dome:  Both double glazed with laminated safety glass

• Clear polycarbonate dome – clear view from the outside and a sky view from inside.  It is scratch resistant.  The clear dome provides maximum day light.
• Opaque polycarbonate dome – this has a cloudy look, ensuring privacy.  Daylight will filter through efficiently.  Scratch resistant material.

Choosing your base:  PVC base unit construction provides good thermal insulation with a 2-layer low-energy pane

• Electrically Vented Base Unit (CVP) – this unit can be opened to allow ventilation.  Integrated rain sensor for automatic closing during rain.
• Fixed Base Unit (CFP) – this unit is fixed and cannot be opened.

FLAT ROOF EXIT

This is a manually operated flat roof exit windows opens wide to allow people to exit through it, opening angle of approximately 60°.  It provides easy access to the roof.  This exit is a double-glazed roof window with a laminated inner pane that prevents the glass from breaking.  The roof fire escape is available with a clear or opaque dome.

SMOKE VENTILATION

This smoke ventilation flat roof window will automatically open when it detects smoke.  It opens allowing the excess smoke and heat out.  It can also be opened manually to provide ventilation.  It has a burglar-proof construction provides additional security while a laminated inner pane prevents glass from breaking.  It is operated with a heavy-duty reliable scissors opening mechanism.
